Sharing the stories of historic funding for Alaska
Build Back Better, Alaska (B3AK) is closely tracking federal investments flowing into Alaska from sources such as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This portal shows what funding is ‘out-the-door’ to our state and where it is going. Complimenting efforts such as the Alaska Municipal League’s robust website keeping track of overall funding levels and grant opportunities, we focus on contextualizing these historic investments and sharing the stories of their impact.
We update this page regularly as new announcements and press releases are published. Please reach out if there is something we’ve missed!

Clicking an icon will reveal details, such as the overall funding level. Icons are color-coded by agency, and you can hide individual layers, such as airports, by clicking the checkmark in the map sidebar. Note: This map only contains funding exceeding $1 million. Some smaller projects, and the 205 airports receiving either $159k or $110k are excluded for visibility. The complete list of airports can be found here.
